Overview of the JFS Programme Dashboards 

This page provides an interactive overview of the scope of the Southeast Asia - Europe Joint Funding Scheme for Research and Innovation (JFS), highlighting key data and insights across various dimensions of the programme. The visualizations are based on funding and collaboration data collected through the JFS and allow users to explore the structure and impact of supported projects. 

Each dashboard is provided with a short instruction explaining the functionalities such as possible filter options and the underlying data. 

The dashboards include: 

• World Map by Country 

  Displays countries involved in the JFS, grouped by region (Europe, Southeast Asia, Other). Hovering over a country reveals the number of funded projects it participated in. 

   

• Project Count and Funding by Country 

  Shows the number of projects and total JFS funding per country. Users can select a specific country to view bilateral collaborations or select “All” to see the global picture. 

   

• Proposals and Thematic Areas over Time 

  Visualizes how many proposals were submitted across different thematic areas and calls. The circle size represents the number of submissions, and hover details reveal submission and funding data.

   

•  Funded Projects per Country and Topic 

  A matrix-style dashboard that shows how many projects were funded by country and thematic area within each call. 

   

• Details of Funded Projects 

  A full list of all funded projects with detailed information such as project title, role, institutions involved, and funding source. 

   

• Collaboration Between Two Countries 

  Allows users to select two countries and view all projects in which both participated. Filters by call and thematic area are available to refine the view.
